If you find yourself in the delightful village of Halberton, just a stone's throw from Tiverton, make sure to stop by The Swans Neck Café. Nestled conveniently on High St, this charming café is not just a stop for your coffee cravings, but an experience that indulges the senses.

As you step into The Swans Neck, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the café’s rustic charm. The spacious interior boasts a light, airy vibe with authentic, shabby decor that conveys a sense of home. Natural light floods in through the windows, creating a cozy nook for friends, families, or solo visitors seeking a peaceful retreat.

The café’s menu is a delightful medley of fresh and comforting options. Customers rave about the frittata, a colorful dish adorned with beetroot, couscous, and the freshest salads that burst with flavor. Picture yourself savoring each bite, accompanied by a drizzle of balsamic vinegar that elevates the experience. And let's not forget the indulgent lasagna and creamy cauliflower bakes that have patrons coming back for more.

Among the many highlights of The Swans Neck is its impressive coffee selection. As one happy customer, Matthew Branton, declared, “Had an iced mocha, best coffee I’ve ever had! 10/10 will be back in a hurry.” This speaks volumes about the baristas' craft and attention to detail in every cup brewed. Pair your drink with a slice of freshly baked ginger/apple cake or toffee cake, which have been lovingly described as “perfect, proper home baked loveliness” by satisfied visitors like Michelle Fathers.

The ambiance is further complemented by a genuinely friendly team. The staff are known for their welcoming smiles and attentive service, ensuring that every visit feels special. Whether you’re enjoying a satisfying bacon & egg bap or sipping on the finest coffee, you’ll feel like part of the community. And in true British fashion, your furry friends are also welcome, with doggy treats available for your four-legged companions.

A feast to behold. Frittata, beetroot, cous cous, coleslaw, the freshest salad you could wish for, balsamic vinegar and garnish and a picture book view as you munch away. The coffee tops it off nicely. We love the Swans Neck Café. The staff are all lovely. So friendly. We love the lasgne, cauliflower bakes and soups too. More of the same please.

Lovely little café next to the farm shop. I had a cup of coffee with a bacon & egg bap. The bacon was crispy and the egg was tasty (lovely). The team who work there are a friendly bunch too.

Good coffee, slow service, and a decent atmosphere on a farm. The space is large and bright, authentic, shabby, and echoey. Well priced beverages, and worth a stop if you're nearby anyways.

We treated ourselves to a pot of tea, ginger/apple cake and toffee cake. Perfect, proper home baked loveliness and the service was great too.
